The Sun is out, and summer is officially on it's way! As Memorial Day weekend just passed, it has truly been a pleasure viewing people's vacation posts in warm climates across the world. So I thought, on this very last day of May (Yes, I almost missed May smh) I would provide you with my own tropical tasting regarding my travel to the Dominican Republic!

The Meal

Last year, was definitely one for the books! In January I traveled to South Africa, which you had the privilege of reading about in one of my previous post, and then just a couple months later in March of 2016 I flew to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to celebrate the nuptials of my dear friend, Davina and her husband Brandon. {SN: Congrats to the lovely couple who this month celebrated the birth of their second baby boy, Lennox !}

Although, my trip to the Dominican was short, it was very much sweet! I had such an AMAZING time, and the wedding was absolutely gorgeous :)

Favorite Ingredients

Here are my top three favorite moments of the trip:

1. The Wedding - When I say the wedding was beautiful, I really mean breathtaking. Just imagine two love birds, surrounded by friends and family, ready to devote their life to each other with an amazing back drop of the Caribbean Sea to complete this romantic occasion!

2. Taking a dip in a natural cave - While I was in the Dominican, I also had the chance to explore the city, go ATV riding, and swim in a natural cave! This was such a cool experience as the water was so pure, warm, and not to mention deeeeep! Thank goodness for those swimming lessons my mother put me in when I was little LOL

3. Coco Bongo - After after the wedding, The Narains treated their guest to a night out, at Coco Bongo which was what I'd like to call the party version of Cirque De Soleil. The experience is impossible to describe in words, but just know it was a night to remember !

Order to Go

Absolutely !!! If you are looking for a nice, fairly inexpensive place to vacation I would definitely suggest the Dominican Republic. There are countless All inclusive resorts to choose from, and array of activities that everyone in the family can enjoy!
